Situated along Interstate 14, and eleven miles west of Interstate Highway 35, Nolanville lays in the rolling hills of Bell County, Texas. This small town’s convenient location is next door to Harker Heights, 5 minutes from Belton, 15 minutes from Temple, and 5 – 15 minutes from Killeen and Fort Hood – the nation’s largest military base – makes it a desirable location in which to live as it combines small-town ambiance with big-city amenities. Currently home to 2,000 plus residents, Nolanville once housed only a few settlers along Nolan Creek back in the 1840’s. By 1882, the first passenger train ran through the small community, attracting more families and more businesses to the area. Today, Nolanville is one of the fastest-growing communities in Texas and with its prime location, unique real estate market and wonderful educational opportunities it is sure to continue that trend. Nolanville has managed to stay a small town despite its growth in housing; it is primarily a bedroom community of Killeen with only a few businesses.
