My son Scott was perusing the Temple Daily Telegram and found this article and he thought that it would be important for everyone that is in our area or headed to our area to know.
Thanks,

MEDICAL CENTER TO BENEFIT SURGEONS WORLDWIDE
TEMPLE (Temple Daily Telegram) – A planned four-story Scott & White surgery center will bring up to 36 state-of-the-art operating suites to the city by fall 2011.
Many of the rooms will be equipped with video and Internet technologies capable of sharing advanced surgical procedures with surgeons worldwide.
The Surgical Sciences Building will be built on the south end of Scott & White Memorial Hospital on land currently occupied by the air ambulance helicopter landing pad. A new landing pad will be built atop the hospital’s south tower.
Preparatory construction activity will begin in August. The facility will cost an estimated $133 million.
