Whew, it is HOT outside and after reading this article I know this new park will be sweet relief next Summer.
BEATING THE HEAT IN KILLEEN
KILLEEN (Killeen Daily Herald) - This central Texas town could make quite a splash next spring thanks to a new $5.5 million water park that is in the works.
Plans for the Lions Club Water Park include a 2,180-sf bathhouse, a 10,360-sf multiuse pool, a 25-meter lap pool, three water slides, a bowl slide and shade shelters.
The park was designed by Counsilman-Hunsaker and Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc.
Construction could begin this September and be completed next May.
Have a great weekend,
Jean
