If you’re like me and you’ve got about 10 old cans of paint taking up space in your garage, this is a great opportunity to properly dispose of items like that.

When:  September 11, 2010 – 9:00am – 2:00pm

Where:  City of Temple – 3210 E. Ave. H

Who can participate?:  Open to all residents of Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas, Milam, Mills and San Saba counties.  Must show proof of residency.  Collection is for Households ONLY – no businesses.

What can be dropped off?:  Paint, batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, household cleaners, household chemicals, pesticides, flammables, corrosives, and other hazardous household products.

Prohibited items:  Infections and medical wastes, biological and radioactive materials, compressed gas cylinders, ammunition, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and explosives!
